ABSENTEE VOTING INFORMATION
Voters in Clay County who will be away from their polling places for the April 3, 2012 General Municipal
Election may cast an ABSENTEE BALLOT beginning February 21, 2012 at the Clay County Election Board Office,
100 W. Mississippi Street in Liberty, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. through April 2,
2012. The Clay County Annex, 1901 NE 48th Street, will be available for absentee voting Monday, March 28,
2012 through Friday, March 30, 2012 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Both locations will be open for absentee
voting on Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
The last day to register to vote for the April Election is March 7, 2012.
Requests for absentee ballots to be mailed must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. March 28, 2012.
Voters may stop by either office to pick up a sample ballot for the election. For further information,
